Hi there :-) I'm Miranda!

I'm passionate about designing experiences (tangible and digital) that compel people to take action and make impact in the physical world. I'm particularly interested in the ability of technology to digitally augment our physical engagements and am always experimenting with emerging media in order to build out these interactions.

Currently, I'm studying Design at Carnegie Mellon University with minors in Physical Computing and Human-Computer Interaction. I also work as an interaction designer for the Learning Media Design Center, where I'm designing tools (including MakerCards!) that digitally augment our learning environments. Previously, I worked at Parthean, helping create the future of education through social learning communities and assisting clients including Google for Education.
